Large and extremely strong Typhoon No. 10 is moving north, drawing Kagoshima and Miyazaki prefectures into its storm zone, and is approaching Nagasaki.
The typhoon is expected to make its closest approach to Nagasaki City between the night of the 6th and the 7th, and there is a risk of unprecedented, record-breaking storms, high waves, storm surges, and heavy rain. The Japan Meteorological Agency is calling for the highest level of caution.
Please take the utmost care and evacuate to a safe place while it is still light out.
Even after the typhoon has passed, secondary disasters such as landslides are expected.
Please also be careful when going outside, as there is a possibility of signboards and other objects falling.
