On Saturday, October 18, 2025, after V-Varen Nagasaki’s home game (vs. Kofu), the special event “Additional Time in Shianbashi Yokocho” was held in Shianbashi Yokocho. In the autumn night breeze, many people came out, and the area was filled with a lively, warm atmosphere.
That day’s match ended in a convincing 4–0 win for V-Varen Nagasaki.
Carried by that momentum, supporters gathered in the streets of Shianbashi, and a circle of toasts spread as everyone shared in the victory.
⚽ Carrying the Afterglow of the Match Into the Shianbashi Night

Still excited from the night game, supporters in uniform made their way from the stadium to Shianbashi.
A free shuttle bus that ran after the match allowed the flow of people from Stadium City into the town center to go smoothly.
At the venue, Dozagawa Promenade Square (former Doza Market), a free distribution of “Midori Gin Soda,” sponsored by Suntory, was held, and many people naturally raised their glasses, forming a circle of toasts to celebrate the victory.
What stood out in particular was the cry of “Cantare!” that rang out across the whole venue at the signal for the toast.
The Dragon Dance appeared at just that moment, and the venue burst into excitement.
The heat generated by this fusion of the victory’s afterglow with Nagasaki’s traditional culture kept the smiles and applause coming without pause.
🎤 Music and Talk That Colored a Nagasaki Night
On stage, a special live show was held by “MUSIC CROSS PROJECT,” a music project born in Hamanmachi.
Four acts — Qtaro, Crane, Yuuka, and Tadashi Matsuda — performed, and the music echoing along the Doza River lit up the Shianbashi night.
From 20:30, Yohei Otake, a V-Varen Nagasaki alumnus, joined us, and under the emceeing of DJ NAOYA, familiar from “Rikohouse” on FM Nagasaki, he shared stories from his playing days and his memories of Nagasaki.
The audience listened with smiles and applause,
and a warm atmosphere spread throughout the town center.
🍸 All 33 Shianbashi Yokocho Shops Came Together to Welcome Guests
For this event, 33 shops belonging to the Shianbashi Yokocho Association took part, and thanks to sponsorship from Suntory, offered “Midori Gin Soda” at a special price of 200 yen.
Supporters on their way home from the match were seen going from shop to shop,
exchanging words like “good job today” and “what a great match” at each counter.
It truly was a night where “the whole town became an extension of the stadium.”
📸 Smiles and Scenes That Left Lasting Memories

At the venue, many people were seen taking photos to their heart’s content.
Against the backdrop of the lights along the Doza River and the lanterns of the yokocho,
we saw many scenes conveying the warmth of a Nagasaki night, from toast photos in uniform to memorial shots with friends.
On site, we received many comments such as “the town got brighter” and “please hold this again,” and it was a night that gave the community real, tangible confidence.
🚍 A New Flow Connecting the Stadium and the Town Center
This time, we ran a free shuttle bus connecting Stadium City to the Shianbashi area.
This made it easy for people to come into town after watching the match,
and allowed us to naturally connect match-day excitement with liveliness in the town center.
Going forward, we will make use of this kind of system to further increase the flow of people throughout the area.

This event was made possible through the cooperation of many parties, centered on the Shianbashi Yokocho Association, together with Nagasaki City, the Nagasaki Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kasugai Confectionery Co., Ltd., Suntory Holdings Limited, V-Varen Nagasaki Co., Ltd., and various community groups and students.
